Welcome back!!
Welcome back to school. September, October, and November are your opportunity to get ahead of the competition—use these months with purpose. A few weeks of focused, consistent work now will pay off in confidence, conditioning, and chemistry when the season begins.
Team workouts for grades 7–12 will be held a couple times each week and are posted in TeamSnap. These coached sessions are the best place to get structured reps, learn team concepts, and build
timing with your teammates. Make attendance a priority, add sessions to your calendar, and turn on notifications so you don’t miss updates. Take advantage of the recreation department’s open gyms for extra reps and scrimmage opportunities. Open gym is where you can apply what you learn in workouts, try new moves, and get extra shot volume. Treat these sessions like scheduled practice—show up ready to work. Individual work is essential. Build a weekly routine that includes running/conditioning, strength training, ball-handling drills, and deliberate shooting practice. Keep sessions focused and measurable—short, intense, and regular beats long, unfocused workouts. Prioritize sleep, nutrition, and recovery so your body responds to the training.

A simple, effective weekly plan: attend team workouts 2× per week, go to open gym 1–2× per week, do 2–3 focused individual skill sessions (30–60 minutes each), and include 2 strength/conditioning sessions. Take at least one full rest day. Log makes, times, and weights so you can track progress and avoid overtraining.
Our motto this season is: All In. All Out. Use the call-and-response to lock in focus and energy before practice and games. “All In” means 100% commitment mentally, physically, and emotionally. “All Out” means giving everything you’ve got on the court—no holding back, no regrets, play hard until the final buzzer.
Start now: confirm your TeamSnap settings, add team workouts to your calendar, plan regular open gym visits, and build a simple weekly routine. Bring the right gear, hydrate, and come with a positive mindset to every session. Be accountable to your teammates—All In. All Out. Let’s get to work.
